My guess is that Bhupati advised her to do what she'd have done anyway , but it's equally true that if she has to have a successful career as a sports person then she needs to toughen up.

She was adviced by Mahesh who does the job of consultancy for her. The media people give too much of hype for anything and everything and that is why most of the sports person are not able to bear the brunt and collapse like this. she needs to silence her critics through her performance.
