England have been knocked out in the qualifiers and so hass been Steve McClaren , a bad end to a bad beginner McClaren as the manager.

Actually this team just unlucky. They have a good player and strong squad. They just need a bit luck to booked the ticket to Austria- Switzerland. This time that thing is not on his side. Pity for them but this is the reality they need to accept. Just forget it and put focus on FIFA world cup 2010.

That is really unlucky for them, England is always a name of power into sports, sad to see they are not going to be there this time!

I am really sorry for the England fan.I don't what happen to England team they have the strong squad and the player like rooney.

It is not just about rooney, they have beckham, lampard, gerrard, terry.. you name them and they have it, only their goalkeeper is a bit unfamiliar one, rest all are almost legends and have pretty good new talent too.

Yeah we have good players, but at the end of the day we simply just didn't play well enough and don't deserve to be in the tournament.

Admittedly we had our best players injured, Rooney, Terry, Rio for example, but there are no excuses.

McClaren was a terrible manager and to be honest, I'm glad to see the back of him.

Maybe england are having problems in their team..or maybe they just lost there concentration in the game,maybe they will try to win the next game..

So Fabio Cappello seems to have been awarded the job of the next manager for the squad.

I'm in full supprt, the guy has a fantastic record for club sides,despite neer having managed an international side, and his reputation as a 'bull' taker is what I think they may need.

Well you can always expect that time is needed to get to know a team and how the players work together. I do not think that one season is enough to really show what a manager can do.
