I don't know about this soccer football matches but there were many instances in the past where strong teams which were picked to win were being upstaged by their inferior opponents. Case in point was the 2002 World Cup where the South Korean national team managed to salvage fourth place by defeating Poland and Portugal in the elimination and Italy and Spain in the knockout stage.

Well from what I have seen Germany is the strongest but Croatia has a very good chance as well. I would really like Germany to come out on top.
