Favorite Goal Keeper

Who is your favorite goal keeper? My favorite is Oliver Kahn. I think he is the most experienced goal keeper among all national teams. He also won the Best Goal keeper of the World Cup Award in 2002.

Oliver Kahn is my all time favorite as he is a legend for sure. In the current players I like Van der Saar the most as he has been doing well both for Netherlands and Man Utd.

Have to go with the rest of the group on this one. Oliver is an inspiration to anyone and fantastic at best. Although I will agree too that there are other very good players out there as well.

I like Barthez more than Kahn. He is one of the most popular French football player. His contributions are remarkable in both international and club career.

There is no others than Van der Sar. he is my favourite Goalkeeper at this moment. he play well with manchester United. But sometimes he could make silly mistakes which can punish the team. By the way he really great goalkeeper.

Do not know much about the others out there but really think that there may be some good ones, just none as great as the man.

Peter Schmeichel is my favourite player of all time and thus my favourite keeper, however my favourite goalie currently still playing is Ben Foster, he's undoubtedly going to become England's number 1 and possibly one of the best in the world as soon as he becomes Man Utd's number 1.

I think that Buffon is the best goalkeeper. He plays for Italy and has also won the best goalkeeper award in the 2006 world cup. These days he is playing for the Italian club Juventus and is performing extremely well.
