My favorite is Stella. I have a soft spot for Japanese beer to Asahi or Sapporo

I can claim the one that no-one would have heard of, let alone tried and that is a little Welsh brewery by the name of Pen-Lon. Their chocolate ale is the greatest out there, not only for the taste but the whole process of pouring it.

You are right - haven't heard of Pen-Lon before - but chocolate and beer is really an interesting mix.

I tend to drink quite a lot of Fosters (because it's fairly cheap and I'm a poor student), but if I want to splash out, then it's Hoegaarden (Belgium) or San Miguel.

Don't think much of San Miguel? Sir...I am lost for words.

As for Hoegaarden, it's a kind of sour and fruity blend which is ridiculously easy to drink (and very tasty, of course). Comes in glasses as wide as your head as well down at my local too, haha.

If I want a fruity drink then it would have to be Kroneburg Blanc over Hoegaarden every time. Other than that my standard drink is either a Corona or Brahma. If I go somewhere and they have a decent Polish or other European beer\lager on tap then I;ll go for that.

Sapporo is some good japanese beer. Others that I like are Pilsner Urquell, and Shiner Bock. Those are my favorites, however, there are many microbrewed brands that stand out, and its always good to find one if they are nearby.

Add Tiger to my list, I've been drinking a lot of it lately...perhaps too much. It's nice dammit! So what if I want to drink more of it and forget to shave, it's my life
