Former Pro Bowl DL Bacon dies at 66 (AP)

Coy Bacon, a fierce pass rusher during a 14-year NFL career with Los Angeles, Cincinnati and Washington, died Monday. He was 66. His died in his hometown of Ironton in southern Ohio, the Cincinnati Bengals said. The cause was not disclosed. Bacon played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1968-72, when he made the first of his three Pro Bowls.
