Royals hire Seitzer as hitting coach (AP)

Former All-Star third baseman Kevin Seitzer is returning to the Kansas City Royals as their hitting coach. Seitzer replaces Mike Barnett, who was fired after last season when the Royals ranked near the bottom of the American League in on-base percentage and runs scored. "You're focused on getting better and not dwelling on the past," Seitzer said.
