I think Martina Hingis is a class player. She has earlier returned from the game and then came back and did her best and she also won a tournament to her credit. But all of a sudden she was accused of taking drugs during the match and again she went out of the game. This is really a bad mark for her sporting career.

I am really proud of her that time as she can shake the world only at 16. I really shocked when suddenly heard she was accused of taking drugs during the match. This news really bad impression to her. After starting with fliying color at the end she finish her carrier like this.

I have also heard about Martina that she was a very good player but as her career was ruining good she should not go for drugs and all.

It is pretty sad how she had to retire.
![]() She is such a smart player. I never seen someone know the court so well. She could be in an awkward position and hit a smart and extordinary shot! I for one, don't think she would have been banned from the WTA for using cocaine. It isn't a sport enhancing drug. It is more of a pleasure drug. Oh well. If she did use the drug, I can see why she alway uses white colored racquets and always smiles. |

She's look so sexy every time she hits the ball with compassion..every strike has a power to overcome the opponent...

Martina retired in 2002 and returned in 2006. She played throughout 2006 and got back into the top 10 and basically, she started off 2007 very well. She got some injuries and the rest of 2007 was horrible. Then comes the drug accusations.
I don't think cocaine helps her destroy other players at all. It shouldn't matter. I hope she coaches some teen so she can transfer that wonderful smart play along. |

I loved her game. It was pretty sad to see her go the way she did. In fact what surprised me was that she didn't even challenge the charges or protest against it.Can't say for sure if it was the feeling of guilt that stopped her from protesting against the doping charges , but surely came as a huge surprise to me.Some of her intensity was gone when she made a come back to international tennis , but she still had the big shots and I really can't figure out why she needed the drugs.
