This indian girl is not able to keep herself fit for most of the tournaments. But one should really accept the fact that she was the one who brought the indian tennis to limelight. As her career best she went upto number 26 but could not move ahead further. She needs to do her best in the future games.

if you give her some space on the training i think she will do better this season..

I do not like her attitude and cockiness but, her forehand stroke is just monsterous! I've seen her play and she was overhyped and lately, I've seen her play and she needs to be more consistant!
It is a good sign for Indian Tennis though. |

I have to agree with Chris.I always get the feeling that she is overhyped. She may take out a few big names but she fails in the big matches. Her serve seems to be a big weaknesses to me and sometimes she goes for a little too much on her forehand causing unforced errors. The girl has been there for like 3 years ? If she has to prove her worth ,then this is the time.

You are absolutely right. She needs to keep herself fit and be consistent. Also she must not try to over expose. Recently she took an awkward decision to boycott indian series. She should not have done that.

I think that she needs to reduce those unforced errors and concentrate on her first serve.Probably she needs a new coach,'cause she does have lot of talent. But what is this thing about her exposing, man, just leave her alone.

sania mirza is really a great player and the besty thing about her is that she is very hard working and tenacious. She just need to concentrate a lot on the game to do well and regain her rank.

I wouldn't expect her to win a major tournament because she has recently undergone a wrist surgery. I am waiting to find out if that will improve her serve after she recovers and if her backhand strokes will continue to be as powerful as they were before the surgery.
