So Alonso has signed a new 2 year deal with Renault

Gotta say it, think he shot himself in the foot after his dealings with McClaren. They had the best car and if it wasn't for Hamilton beating him in most of the races, would probably of taken a third title.

I doubt Renault will be equal to Ferrari or McClaren this coming season, so all his 'blackmailing' of Big Ron was a big mistake.

You know sometimes they think it is good move but never fully realize what they have done until it is too late. By that time you are now so far gone that you can never fully come back. If something is working well for you why change.

Its great news for renault as their champion is back with them once again.For sure alonso had a tough time in mclaren espically with the chief.He complained that he hadnt been given more preference being the world champion and more attnetion was to lewis.This created a misunderstandin in mclaren and the spying controversy ended it.Reanult has been posing threats to ferrari and mclaren last time with alonso in but has lost this reason with other drivers at stake.Now having their champion back they will be raring to go this season.
