Miami heat is sure of taking season's title. They have been performing well and has had a good home and away record. They have the experience and calibre of O'Neal to coast pressure on the opponent both physically and in the game.He is tough man to handle for any team and with him the heat reach places..

In the year I have been watching NBA I would have to say that I have seen the Miami Heat to be a strong contender and good team. I think they really get into the game and give it their all.

have you seen the other teams play yet? if you would check the standings, i think you would think twice in picking the heat. although i understand that if wade and shaq are healthy, they could give the other teams a run for their money

The Miami Heat are one of the biggest disappointments this season. They simply cannot get it done and then they just want to blame Shaq for them not winning.

Many fans consider the team tanking the season and go straight into the lottery in order to get a high pick. One expert even arrived at a conclusion that the Heat cannot salvage the eight spot for the playoff berth with their current standings right now.

With their current standing no. However, believe it or not, there is still time for the miami heat to turn things around. Especially with how things go in the East. Almost any team is capable of grabbing those lower playoff spots even with a loosing record or at .500. But the way they are playing now that just doesn't look possible unless they turn it around, I mean they lost to Timberwolves the worst team in the NBA. That is pretty low for the Heat which are not hot at all.

Boy, it sure seems silly now to think that many considered the Heat a contender at the beginning of the year. Without their big two, as felics said, the Heat don't stand a chance. They have buried themselves into the basement of the league.
