Do you watch womens basketball? If you do then who do you enjoy watching and why? How do you think the sport compares to the NBA

I have watched some games especially the championship matches. This is the league that made the US a powerhouse in women basketball in international competition.

Comparing it to the NBA, well, it is slowly gaining popularity year after year. One thing that can shoot it to the top is the emergence of superstar caliber players which I think it does not have right now.

I think that it is much slower compared to the NBA. There is not the same level of play. When this happens, it also has a low level of excitement. The NBA is above and beyond the WNBA. I agree that adding stars could help, but also they need to make these stars well known. I remember Lisa Leslie...and that's about it. (I don't even think she plays anymore).

Not really my cup of tea. Its rather slow paced for the most part, looks like women's college ball, it doesn't pique my interest. It does have fans, but it will never catch on and be prime time material.
