Have you ever been to a WC?

I have never been to a World Cup but I love to watch every one on TV. I just have never been able to fit it into my schedule. I'll make it to a World Cup one of these day though. My friends and I do travel, but the World Cup has never been something everyone agreed on to go to.

I am not the greatest World Cup fan and therefore had not been to any of them; it is too expensive and too much a hassle; watching on TV is good enough for me

My father in law just missed it, if only he had put off his trip to SA. It would be great to go to South Africa, or even Brazil in 14, but 3 kids, finding something for the wife to do, and all those tickets....Sorry, just can't do it.

Hope you got a chance to go to a World Cup soon and at least once. It is only once every 4 years, so there is sufficient time to plan and save money

Was in Germany for the last world cup but never managed to get hold of any tickets. It was a long and tiring fortnight but well worth the experience.

I have never been to one, but it sure looks INCREDIBLE. The passion and excitement of the world cup is unparalleled in sport (with the exception of the Olympics).

So far I have only watched the matches on tv , but it would indeed be a great experience to watch the matches live on the field.In earlier days , I used to find watching matches at home more fun because there were no giant screens on the ground and you could miss a moment of magic , but with the screens all that has changed.

I've never been to a world cup match yet, but as soon as it comes to England I will be all over it. I missed out on Euro 96 because I was on holiday for most of it, but if the World Cup came here, then I'd make special allowances.
