Default Canseco on the Mitchell Report

Jose Canseco tried to get into the news conference yesterday when the Mitchell report was released, only to be denied access to the news conference.

Canseco says there are many players missing from that list and that he does not understand what they are trying to accomplish by releasing this information.

When asked about Alex Rodriguez, he only stated that the report is imcomplete. That Jose could not believe that Rodriguezes name was not in the report.

I think this report is highly inaccurate and its just hurtin Major League Baseball. There is just a lot of finger pointing going on and its just ticking off both players and fans. It seems that they are players that are missing from the list and players that are on there which shouldn't. Its just a whole big mess.

You are right on this one. I am still trying to figure out what the overall idea of this was to begin with. So if they suspected it was going on why didn't they do something more about it then. But they waited and released the information. I am not sure I understand why?

I am not sure why either. It seems to me that Mitchell just wanted the attention of the media on himself. Like I said before this is just corrupting baseball and making America's pass time look like a joke.

You know that is the truth of the matter. I do not think there is a clear reason for this from the beginning but would like to really know why it is so important anyway. After illness or injury people are given steroids to help them heal in a stronger way. I do not understand what the big deal is anyway it is their body they are destroying.

I wish Canseco would just give it up. He's basically doing this to hype his second book, and the "I told you so's" are getting old. The only good thing he's done is admitted he cheated and that there were others. I wish he just shut up and do something productive with his life.
