The New York Yankees renamed their spring training field after George Steinbrenner recently. I think that he deserves it...he has done wondrous things for the team, as he is always willing to fork over the extra buck for a shot at the World Series, but I was wondering if anybody was upset by this news.

I agree he deserves it. He has caught a lot of flak from the press, especially during the "Bronx Zoo" years, however he has done more as an owner than anyone else in recent memory. Very fitting to have the stadium named after him.
