With the news that the GB baseball team has had to pull out of the Olympic qualifying tournament due to lack of funding, do you think that all games should be treated equally and given adequate funding?
The sum in question was only £40,000, which is paltry by the amounts going around in sport these days. |

It is sad when amatuer athletes cannot compete on the World stage due to the lack of funding. Each sport is given different amounts of funding based on a variety of factors. That sum is quite small when you see the salaries of professional athletes and the profits large corporations are making these days. Would be nice to see a donation on behalf of someone to see them live their Olympic dreams. If I was a Bernie Eccelstone or a Richard Branson of the world I would certainly do this out of my own pocket.
