According to me its Sachin Tendulkar and then Don Bradman.
Don has a great average but if we kook at the stress and other factors then Sachin is much ahead and great than Bradman. |

Brian Charles Lara should also figure on that list.
I haven't seen much of Bradman- pity that he missed out on an average of 100 by getting out for a duck in his last test match. Tendulkar is good- he is technically sound, and can attack and defend with equal ease.

Well I would choose Brian Charles Lara because he played some of the best innings for his country and he played without star players. Bradman is a best player but he never played any matches agianst other country than England.

In my view sachin tendulkar is always bestman in all aspects tests, onedays and 20-20 also(but not playing 20-20's).Future best batsman is Yuvraj singh.

As per me there are 3 bats \man which cannot be said one over other
1. Sachin 2. Lara 3. Bradman |

Its got to be Bradman. He didn't play as much cricket as Lara or Sachin have played but still he played more than 50 tests. To have an average of 100 is remarkable and its not that the bowling in his era was poor, otherwise all batsmen of his time would have averaged around 100. My list would be 1]Don Bradman 2]Sachin Tendulkar 3]Brian Lara

I think Sachin Tendulkar is the best batsman cricket world has ever seen. He has got a great amount of talent in him. He's playing since 1989. The great thing about him is that he plays the cricket with technique.

I would go for Bradman, not only is his overall average almost twice that of the next player but he played in some difficult times.
Uncovered pitches, bodyline, the war - none of those things were easy yet he still came away averaging near 100. |

It's hard to pick one batsman who will qualify over the rest because Bradman didn't play any one day international cricket and all his runs came in test cricket alone .No doubt he was the best during his era , but a comparison on the basis of tests only might be unjustified to all batsmen concerned. To be fair to all of them Bradman, Sachin, Lara are three batsmen who would be right at the top in the list of best batsmen in the world.I feel Sehwag is also quickly rising to greet them there.

I will say its Don Bradman. To have a strike rate near hundred and average of hundred is really commanding. I must say that he was a great man and no batsman in future will also not have average even close to him.
