With the group games out of the way is anyone brave enough to make a prediction for the finals?

Australia have a great record in one day finals not least in the CB but India have been running them close. Whatever happens it should be a great spectacle and we get one last chance to say goodbye to Gilchrist and maybe Hogg.

I didn't think Hogg had enough talent to be playing in the national team , it was probably the absence of Macgill that he could represent Australia at the international level for the number of matches that he did. In stark contrast is Gilly's contribution to Australian and world cricket. Easily the best batsman wicketkeeper to have played cricket.
