do you think u can get a chance in indian cricket team? there are lots of youngsters with immense talent waiting in the ranks. But if i am given a chance i would like to be a bowler.

Well I started my playing as a bowler but now I am only Batsman. I player Under-18 matches for my states but never selected for Ranji team of Gujarat or Baroda for U-18 Matches.

I'd love to be a opening batsman for my national team. I'm not that good though. I love batting and in modern day cricket its the batsmen who take all the glory. The rules are in favour of the batsman.
I dont think fielder should be a choice because a player doesn't make it to the team just because of his fielding capability. Unless of course he is Jonty Rhodes. Fielding is something that every player has to do so I think everyone should try to be a good fielder.

I would rather be a batsman! The worst condition in the team would be a wicketkeeper who has to stay on the ground for 50 overs when his team is bowling plus the amount of time when he will be batting. In today's cricket, people like to see batsman scoring runs and not bowlers taking wickets.

I think the traditional want is to be a fast bowler, all legs and arms failing with venom behind the ball. Indeed nothing better in cricket than the sight of a stump being cartwheeled.

However, as I'm able to so that and am the worlds worst batsman, I would just like to be able to bat fluently, even if only for an innings.

now the competition is so high that one has to do well in all the fields.There are lots of good players emerging that only all rounders survive for the longest.so,i fell that all the 3 things are mandatory.

i think now a days bowling is being recognized as better than the batting.But i feel that there is no comparision between the two because, both are important.anyways if given a chance i would like to become a bowler.
