Whose talent do you think has been wasted in Indian Cricket?
Mohammad Kaif Parthiv Patel Murali Kartik Kanitkar Agarkar Badrinath Aakash Chopra Dinesh Mongia |

You missed off maybe the biggest waste of all and that is Kambli. The guy stood nose to nose with Tendulkar throughout their junior years, indeed, many rated him better than the little master.
If should have played 100 tests with an average in excess of 55 and 30 centuries but his head was turned and talent was wasted. |

He was a good player but he wasted his life himself but drinking and all stuff. Every player drinks but he used to drink a lot even before the match.

The drinking may have been as a result of his genius - look at the likes of George Best and Gazza in football. Highly talented players, most would say geniuses but it was off set by other flaws.
I would also say that P Patel was maybe wasted by the BCCI, but then again it may have been a case of the wrong place, wrong time. Every country wanted a Gilchrist over a decent keeper. |
