Default Australian tactics

The Australians are very good at mind games. They proved this in the form of the chat between symonds and harbajan. Also Ricky ponting very well knows that he did not firmly take the catch but pressurised the umpire to declare out. And above all, Michael Clarke was waiting after giving a catch to the first slip. Why did he do? there were about 12 decisions went against India in a single test match. The umpires have to be blamed for this.

Well it was a wrost moment for Australia. They won the match but it forgotted because of this drama. BCCI still make this tour on hold and Indian team will not play Perth Test match if ICC wouln't remove the ban on Harbhajan Singh.

The Australian tactics in the Sydney Test were against the spirit of the game. Ricky Ponting was the one who urged other captains to adopt the honesty. Kumble was the first captain to agree to it and Ponting betrayed his trust. Whats worse is that he still maintains that he took the catch cleanly when it was shown after numerous replays that the ball was grassed.

Well australians have learnt a very good lesson from this test. Ricky has said that he and his mates would like to see the replay of the test match and study their behaviours and would like to rectify their mistakes. This is a welcome move and he has realised that sun does not always will be at their side.

I think Aussies are never gonna be changed! They did learn a lesson from their Sydney test behavior but they'll behave same whenever they'll be felling like facing defeat.

I was watching that match at Sydney. That was probably the worst match w.r.t umpiring decisions that I have witnessed.10 erroneous decisions and of those 9 against a single side. It's a puzzle how those umpires could be allowed to umpire in international matches.Unbelievable test cricket.

Yes and another worst decision by ICC is to include Hair as an elite panel umpire again. Already Inzi has opposed it. These days most of the decisions by ICC seems to be silly. No action was taken against Symmonds, Bucknor.

Well, Bucknor will not be officiating in any more test matches owing to his age and his abysmal showing in the Sydney test. As for Darrel Hair, he will be under supervision from the ICC for the next 12 months. If everything goes well, only then he will stay on in the umpiring panel beyond that date.
