Default Brian Lara's 400 Runs Record

The highest runs by an individual player in test is 400 runs not out by Brian Lara. Can anyone able to break the record of Lara in coming 4 years?
As per your thinking which player can break the record? I think Micheal Hussey.

If it is Hayden, then why not Yuvraj, the man with power of doing magic in field great batsman. In his recent recent innings against Pakistan he made a ton out of that innings making 169 with number of fours and 1 six. He is not allowed to play in Tests, if its he will make records in Test matches too.

no player will have the patience to play that long and most important no captain will want his team play too long as captains want to win test matches now a days rather than making it into a draw.... so i don think it is easy to break that record...

I think Sehwag can still break this record. A player needs a good strike rate to break this record. Gilchrist has this capability but he is retired from tests.

If it goes well then we may see the record broken today. Smith was looking in awesome form on a flat track with tiring bowlers. It's going to be more a case of him throwing it away I feel. Only another 175 to get!

Sehwag came close to overtaking that record in the first test between India and South africa , but it wasn't to be , although he became only the 3rd batsman in the history of cricket to have scored two 300+ innings the other two being Bradman and Lara.
