The kiwis have put up a fantastic show by scoring a mammoth of 476. But in reply to them, England suffers scoring 286/6 at the day 3. They did well to win the ODI though they lose the T20 series. One can expect the NewZealand team to win the test if they bowl well.

The pitch is too dead for New Zealand to realistically win. They would need have either had to enforce the follow on (which has now passed) or bat again, rack up a quick 100 - 150 and leave themselves with 3 sessions with which to bowl England out.

As England look like continuing the go-slow the chance of a positive outcome diminish, unless one team collapses.

Ho hum, looks like I'll have to eat my words in terms of the draw prediction, but I'll take some credit for the talk about collapses.

England were a shambles and it really makes you wonder what has gone wrong since 2005.

England has won the contest now , thanks to an inspired spell by Sidebottom who took seven wickets in the first innings and Panesar who was the chief demolisher in the second innings.At the beginning of the series Kiwis looked more disciplined unit than the English , but Sidebottom was the difference.
