Retirement of five Great Players

Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman are at the stage of retirement. After two or three years they are going to retire from international cricket. According to you do you have any replacements for these five players? According to me I don't think that there is any replacement for these players. What about you?

Well is it is like that then Indian team will fall big time. It is like a rule, old player retires and new players dominate. Don’t worry the youngsters will play even better than these five players.

Its true that the retirement of these five players is going to cause a major problem in replacement for the Indian team selection!! But then we have to groom players and replace them!! After all these 5 players are also human and they tend to get aged!!

ya,,india had gained much from these players..they cant be substituted by anyone...but,young generation will evolve ,competing with others

I hope that this never happens again, I just love the way they are coming up at this pint in their careers. Hope they play untill 40+

yah thats right we have got many good youngster , the game will be same and more interesting only players will change

Right, we have got many youngsters in have our time, who are performing well in ODI and T20, its time to groom them and no to think or care about the retirement of the great players. They too have played a lot game and now it's time for them to rest. Anyhow, India will stand brave with youngsters, already proved in T20.

These players are legends and no legends can be replaced but only an alternate can be found... may be youngsters can do it in due course of time.... am sure piyush can replace kumble

They might be irreplaceable as you pointed out , but at least the Indian management has already started inducing fresh talent and rotating the senior cricketers .So when they are gone , the younger lot can fill up their places having had the experience of played under and alongside them.It's important that the young players have the support and the experience of these stalwarts while they are new to the team.
