Retirement of five Great Players

It may be the time for them to get replaced. But it should not be done in a way of humiliating them. They deserve all respect from anyone because they were the pillars of the Indian team and without them, we could not have witnessed the present superb giants. Also i hope that the young players will adapt to the situation and will start play a better cricket.

I don't think anyone has been humiliated. They have all got recognition as icon players in the IPL and are earning 15% more than all the other players in the team , that is more than a million bucks for each of them although Laxman chose to give it up in the interest of the team.Moreover, they will be leading their respective sides in the tournament. The money on offer and this respect is because they are the greats in their team.

I totally agree with you dude. what i wanted to insist is the way they have been removed from team. I would like to say the way in which ganguly was not selected for a long time. And now dhoni always insists on young players rather than playing as a team. I meant this as humiliating. Because this team was built up by Ganguly, Dravid and by the senior players. But the other team members do not think so.

Yeah, I can understand some of the comments from Dhoni doing rounds in the media , but I guess this is media hyped because all the players keep saying that there is no Senior -Junior thing in the team.I'd also have liked them to play in the ODIs , but I guess they are doing this to build a team for the next world cup when neither Dravid nor Sourav will be around , although it could have been better handled. I guess how they perform in the IPL will have a bearing on whether they are selected in the ODIs and T20s or not.
