Was FIFa 2006 the worst ever world cup attacking wise

though there was a deluge of goals in the opening matches,most of the matches became dull and defensive form the round of 16 onwards.If Im not mistaken this was among the lowest scoring world cups only next to Italia 1990.Is this what world football has come upto now with the best sides shutting shop and looking to counter on the break.!!

Well the beginning qualifying matches were quite boring. Most of the matches of this world cup ended in a draw. But the finals were really interesting.

Yea Starting matches were quite boring but as the tourney progressed matches became interesting , so actually it was complete entertainer , nevertheless a fewer goals.

well, in my personal opinion, it was very exciting. a lot of beautiful goals, a lot of beautiful strategies, and stuff...

Well we cant say that it was the worst one regarding attacking. Actually teams were so well
prepared that it was really hard to attack, defense was too good. We cant blame strikers for that.

I think there are some that are boring no matter what. It does not have to be a qualifying match to be boring. Some matches just have very little or no excitement at all in them.

We cannot say it was the worst, world cups have been played for a very long time, and there were lots of flaws and mistakes made on the past, now, thanks to technology, it does not happen that much anymore
