Polo is a great sport, but it is not much famous. Most of the people find it boring but it is quite famous in Asian countries. Is there any betting done in polo?

polo - only rich people joined, used much money to play pool...horse etc

Why do you think that polo has not really caught on with people. Is is just because most people have never heard of it or is there some other reason.

To be frank, i really do not anything about the game. If anybody here could tell me the rules and regulations, then i could learn and give my views about the game. There is no much exposure to the game like cricket or tennis. So it needs publicity and must be easily access to the common masses.
