Default Teams in the US

Which teams in the US do you watch and how would you compare those teams to the international teams. Who is the best, worst and who would you never want to watch.

I have not watched any games yet in America maybe because it has not yet broadcast by ESPN or Star Sports. But it will be interesting to see who are the stars that will emerge in the league.

Actually MLS teams are regularly broadcasted on ESPN, although depending on where you are in the world, they can be at weird times. For instance, watching from Australia, they are on Friday and Sunday mornings.

Anywho, I find that the most exciting teams to watch in the MLS are NY Red Bulls and NE Revolution. They both have an attacking style that is fun to watch, as well as the fact that they have exciting players like Altidore and Twellman.

Compared to teams from other countries, I would rate an MLS side as most likely to be equivalent to the Championship in England, which is the division below the Premiership.

I have always liked Chivas of Mexico for some time, but I never really took a long look at the America team, until last summer. What I saw was a bunch of guys that would jump on the ground and hold their ankle and ask for a penalty at every chance they could get. Granted, i devised this opinion over one game. One game was all I needed. I haven't followed them since. I'll stick with Latin or European teams for the time being, thank you. But the NE is heating things up a little bit. North America may yet have its hayday.

The men's 23 and under American team is headed to the Olympics. Do the Olympics count very high in the eyes of today's fotball market? Or is the World Cup a better international standard? What about for scouting?

The only time I have actually watched an american game is when my family and I went to see Beckham play with Galaxy. Other than that I just follow the English teams because my brothers play over there.
