Flames of the olympic torch was put off in France thrice. When it was taken as a procession, it was purposely put off by the tibetian protestors. So a very tight security has been put up in the rest of the countries.

In the latest non-devlopment, the Olympic torch ended a shortened but trouble-free relay in Dar Es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania. This is the only African leg of the journey. Next stop: Oman.

What happened in France was amazing. The Olympic flame is for peace really, and the protesters should actually be doing something more productive than worrying about a flame. It seems very ignorant actually.
