Default Snookers is very different from Billiards.

Surprisingly the two games are quite different.Snookers is played with 15 red and 6 other colored balls whereas Billiards is played with one red and two cue balls(white).Rules and techniques are also different, but both are too interesting to play.

Hi,
sorry but I must ask....what kind of biliards is played with one red and 2(two) cueballs ?I never heard of it....is it different from the game of pool, with 15 coloured/numbered balls and one cue ball?

referring to snooker....what can I say...it's the best game ever... it's tactical, elegant, not for everybody that's for sure.
Are you a player of snooker?

Billiards is played on the same table as snookers. The two white cue balls belong one to each player and there is also a red ball.It is also very elegant and interesting game.I am a player of both billiards and snookers.I love playing both but somehow I don't like pool, maybe I find it to easy to play and there are lot of chances of fluke shots in pool.

What is the basic difference in playing the two games other than the number of balls and their color. If the same game is going to be played with different counts of ball in the ball, then what is the use. Sorry for my ignorance. Hope to get some answers here

I will be eager to help you with this:The game of billiards is played with totally different set of rules than those of snookers, but both require the same technique and subtleness.Do visit a billiards club to know more but I am sure you will not regret learning about the games.
