Default Added woes

The chinese police have foiled the attack by the terrorists and have arrested a few. And UN chief will not be participating in the opening ceremony.Bush will also not be participating and the EU had openly called for boycotting the opening ceremony. China has got more problems day by day to face.

China does deserve the negative attacks that have been coming their way. But all in all, its not going to hurt the games, I don't think there will be any protests from now and up to the games itself. In fact my main worry is that the atheletes do not have any health related issues from China's pollution, which by many studies show its worse their during the summer.

No matter what the outcome of the games is, China has already a big PR disaster in her hands and she is no Pr expert. Keep our fingers crossed and sit tight.

Agreed that China deserves whatever comes its way. I just hope that the games stays pretty much free from the BS, and that people allow to be what its supposed to be. A global athletic event that promotes good will and the very best in human competitiveness.

Superstar Jackie Chan has joined in the fray saying that peace and politics should get top billing at the Olympics.

As good as saying nothing!
