Infra structure

South Africa has been working on infra structure for the games, stadiums and such, but what about hotels and places for people?
Are they doing fine on that too? I hope tourists can have a good time there!

Yea that is one thing that the authorities can take care of and should take care of. Better residing premises and hotels should really make this enjoyable to tourists.

I am aware that they have great things to see and places to go, but I'm worried about places to stay, that is very important as people from all over the world will be there

i always been aware of this,a lot of people don't know where to go, so i advice them to bring some tent to stay,.

people must have second options to stay, also they must make a structure near the venue of the game if you do that people will be great full on that...

Yes, but it is hard to find a second option in a place you do not know if you are going to have a first option, I have no idea of how hotels can be in South Africa, does anybody know?

I think that they are looking to get people there to liven up the tourist sect of their country. I think that might be why they are claiming to have tickets so cheap, is to help their economy by getting people to come. If you buy tickets for matches you will need food and shelter. That is where they will probably be making their money. I would not imagine they would be able to accommodate everyone who will be coming.

It's rather hard for me to believe that South Africa has what it takes to handle a World Cup. Nowadays people will pack out the stadiums and fill up every hotel room in town. I know South Africa has hosted other tournaments before like Cricket, but the World Cup is a whole different ball game. The amount of people that come is larger than any other sporting tournament including the Olympics.

I think they are capable of providing a good facility to the tourists. Recently, they hosted two international cricket events and their management was awesome. So I think we will have an excellent soccer event.

Well they would not be the first place to build hotels to accommodate people. I think that if the people who decide on locations did not think they could handle it they would not have went with the world cup being there.
