Injury Could End Deco’s Period

Deco has been plagued by a hamstring injury. He could miss the rest of the period after suffering a reappearance of a hamstring problem in Chelsea’s 1-0 triumph to Manchester City during the first half at Stamford Bridge. According to Chelsea’s manager Guus Hiddink, he had the problem after 25 minutes. Now he will be out for next match but he will recover soon. He will have to be very fit to come back this season.

Last summer, Deco joined from Barcelona and started his carrier for Chelsea and in his last two League games in last season, he scored two goals. However, since August, he scored one League goal. During match between Chelsea and Manchester City, he came off in game after forty minutes that was decided by Michael Essien’s goal.

Chelsea moved to within four points of Manchester United at the top of the Premier League. However, Hiddink believes that it was a deserved victory but hey should have scored three goals more. They kept the pressure on Manchester throughout the game.
