Norwich Recovery Gratifies Doherty
Gary Doherty who is Norwich captain believes that City’s home defeat to Coventry in February was the channel for their latest recovery. The Canaries victory over Plymouth with 1-0 on Saturday 14th March was third victory in their last 4 matches that lifted them out of the Championship downgrading region.
Captain Gary Doherty joined Norwich from Spurs in August 2004. City’s current high quality appearance has corresponded with Doherty’s re-appointment as the club captain. But the Republic of Ireland international was eager to pressure that victory was a result of the good work done by boss Bryan Gunn and his coaching staff. Doherty paid honor to the Canaries as well as the on-loan pairing of Alan Gow and David Mooney for Saturday’s match.
Doherty is quite sure that the pair can score the goals in the upcoming games that will keep them in the League. Hope, recent strategies of Captain Doherty are helpful to keep Norwich City in League.
