Chess: Koneru Humpy Celebrates Her Turkey Grand Prix Win
Indian woman Grand Master, Koneru Humpy, is ecstatic and hiding no emotions after winning Turkey Grand Prix. In an interview with one of the prominent sports media houses, the Grand Master termed the win at Turkey Grand Prix was one of her finest.
The win has once again brought Indian Grand Masters at the foray of international chess scenario. Humpy while speaking on the importance of this win pointed out the significance as some outstanding players as well as former world champions were her competitors. She pointed out that keeping her nerves strong and some crucial wins in important junctures made all the differences for her in the tournament.
She sounded confident on putting up a good show on her future tournaments, as well, especially the forthcoming world meet. Stating about her preparations prior to the tournament the Grand Master stated that she received immense assistance from the camps that were organized in various Indian cities including Hyderabad and Delhi.
