Suzann Pettersen and Pak Se-ri Lead at State Farm Classic
Suzann Pettersen coupled Pak Se-ri at the highest place of State Farm Classic leader board, in the halfway point, as per the reports. Reports indicated that Hall of Famers Pak, 1st round co-leader, proceeded onto 10 under par with a 4-under 68 for remaining bogey-free through the 36 holes.
Pak, the LPGA tour winner for 24 times, is reportedly attempting one first top10 completion in a significant 10 starts in this season. The player, it has been reported, to be in contestation for ending her stint of no-win for a span of 2 years.
Pettersen, as the reports say, has not cast a shot at the Panther Creek Country Club since her 6-under-par 66. This, the reports added, resulted her and Pak with 1-stroke lead over Kristy McPherson at 66, Helen Alfredsson from Sweden at 63. While the 1st-round co-leader Lee Jeep-young, Kris Tamales and Moira Dunn stood at 69, 68 and finally the 66.
As reported earlier, Pettersen almost pulled back before teeing up for a sore throat. Amongst others, the reports say, Alfredsson, the former European Sokhumi Cup captain, jumped up the leader board due to an outstanding 9-under-par bogey-free attempt. The attempt, as pointed out by the reports, included no less than 7 birdies as well as an eagle.
