Reports Quote Michael Owen Stating Injuries Not a Problem

Michael Owen, newly joined striker of Manchester United, have reportedly asserted that he was fighting for regaining fitness while assuring the fans that his injury-plagued past should not offer major concern.

Owen, 29 years old striker, has entered in a 2-year contract with United, the champions of Barclays Premier League. Recently the player joined United after an unbelievably swift negotiation that was over in the span of less than 48 hours.

Owen, in recent past, received quite a few of the injuries that included hamstring problems at Liverpool, knee ligament issues at Newcastle, as stated by the reports. While the baseless rumors spread widely on the prospect of Owen’s career, Sir Alex Ferguson, the United boss did not have much hesitation in signing him up.

Owen, one of the immensely talented strikers of the game, reportedly believed that Ferguson was correct in not getting concerned by medical notes containing his detail regarding the injuries.
