Valentino Rossi Quickest in Practice in USA

Valentino Rossi, the championship leader, came fastest in FIM MotoGP World Championship’s practice at Laguna Seca. According to reports, Rossi remained ended under 1 minute 22 seconds, being the only one to achieve such result amongst all. Italian is looking for his 3rd back-to-back win in the race.

Rossi, driving a Fiat Yamaha, ended at 1min 21.981seconds in his final lap of the day. The score has enabled him finishing 0.112seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo, his team mate. He is ahead of Casey Stoner, who came 3rd, by 0.189 seconds.

While speaking of the overall performance, the Italian continues leading Lorenzo by 5 points. His difference with Stoner remained at further 4 points behind.

Stoner, according to reports, fought in the last 2 races with visible fatigue. However, on this day, reports described him leading the way in for much of the practice session. Though, he was overtaken in the later phase.
