Reports Say McCaw Pulls Through His Club Outing
Reports have pointed out that Richie McCaw, the New Zealand skipper, has remained unhurt from his outing in the club rugby championship, held in Christchurch.
It should be kept in mind that McCaw did not take part in any match since his knee injury which took place in the Crusaders’ Super 14 semi-final, while playing against the Bulls in the month of May. The player stayed in the field for around 50 minutes before getting substituted in his 1st match for club since way back 2001.
Interestingly, his team remained unbeaten this season and defeated Lincoln University in a margin of 40-13. However, according to reports, the emphasis laid on the fact of McCaw’s health as a vital match against Australia is awaiting in next weekend.
