Reports Say Terry Seeks Talks with City

Latest reports have pointed out that John Terry sought to have talks with Manchester City and approached Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea, as well. Reports quoting some of the inside sources of the club, stated that the player was told by the club authorities for offering his resignation before indulging in any conversation with the Manchester City. However, latest reports point out about a change in the event.

Reports say that Abramovich remains interested in having Terry. However, with the club leaving for a pre-season tour of United States, the final decision could be coming in a few days. It has been rumored for quite a long time that the decision may resulting in the player moving north.

According to recent reports, Manchester City would be offering one £50m offer for the player along with one £5m signing-on fee.

It has been further stated in the reports, the discussion will be depending upon Mark Hughes, the Manchester City boss. Hughes is reportedly all set to arrive from Germany for a detailed discussion with Terry and thereby convincing him.
