Clippers trade Randolph

The Los Angeles Clippers traded away big man Zach Randolph to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies gave the Clippers Quentin Richardson. Richardson returns to the Clippers for the first time since 2004.

Richardson played for the New York Knicks last year but was acquired in a trade by Memphis. Richardson averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds while playing for the Knicks.

Zach Randolph averaged a double-double for the Clippers. He averaged about 20 points and 10 rebounds. Randolph has always been considered an underachiever. He always plays out of shape and is a reluctant passer.

Randolph led the Clippers in scoring last season. He teamed up with guard Baron Davis and center Marcus Camby in Los Angeles.
