Parreira Received Mixed Response

The decision of the Football Association of South Africa about reappointing Carlos Alberto Parreira, as the national coach of the South African national team has confused many people. He was vacated 18 months ago from this post and now this decision has spread confusions all around and the decision has received mixture of reaction, but the captain of Bafana Bafana, Aaron Mokoena, has welcomed this decision.

According to Clive Barker, an appointment of a local coach would have been much better and preferable for the team. Joel Santana had left his post on last Monday because of disappointing performances of his squad in a row. According to Barker, SAFA might be thinking that the decision of reappointing Alberto would be bring in positive change in the team, but he does not think so that it is going to be a very fruitful decision for the team.

He was not surprised by this decision but still he was of the viewpoint that Gavin Hunt was the best option for this post.

The past record of Gavin has been brilliant, but now when the decision has been taken, then Barker is really going to support the decision and he would back Alberto completely, as he knows the importance of unity.
