Henry Called Into the Ireland Squad
Chris Henry is one of the nine uncapped players who have been called for the Autumn Tests against Australia, Fiji and South Africa by Ireland. As few players in the 39 men squad are un-expected which include Paddy Wallace and Andrew Trimble.
Along with Henry, there are total nine un-capped players which are going for the test series. Sexton and Humphreys would be in contest that who will replace Ronan while on the other hand Wallace can also be called up to wear the jersey number 10. Other notable omissions include Leinster quartet of Lock Malcolm, Shane Jennings, Dempsey and Bernard Jackman.
Ireland will start on 15th of November with the match against Australia at Croke Park after that they will face Fiji at RDS on next day. The final game would be against World Champion South Africa at Croke Park on 28th of November. Kidney said on these fixtures that Ireland’s strength will be tested in depth in this test series and I am very hopeful for the team.
He further said that the month of November will test us in three international challenges and in two A games and all these games are against quality oppositions. In short, our strength will be tested in depth and all our resources will be tested in the series.
